Description

Schneider Weisse is the classic Bavarian dunkelweizen — darker, maltier and less banana-forward than a pale Hefeweizen, with more clove and bread crust. Georg Schneider bought the right to brew wheat beer from the Bavarian royal family in 1872, when it was still a crown monopoly, so this is about as close to the source of the style as you can get.

The glass is the standard tall weizen profile in Schneider’s current design, updated in September 2020. 50cl, sold as a single glass. As with any brewery-printed glass, wash it by hand — dishwashers wear the print down over time.
