Description

Westmalle brewed the beer that gave the Tripel style its name, and their Dubbel is just as much a reference. The glass is a classic trappist chalice: wide mouth, short stem, heavy foot.

The wide opening is deliberate. A Westmalle Tripel is bottle-conditioned and lively, and it needs room to throw a head and then settle. Pour it slowly down the side and leave the last centimetre of yeast in the bottle. 33cl.
